Welcome to The Admiral Opening in early August, 2012, The Admiral is a state of the art level 2 nursing care facility which has been constructed for 66 clients who were formerly living at Glades Lodge. Clients of The Admiral are situated atop Admiral Street with breathtaking views overlooking Lakes MicMac and Banook. The Admiral is a beautiful level 2 nursing care facility catering to those who require assistance in performing their activities of daily living.
Clients of The Admiral live in one of five beautifully decorated neighbourhoods, where they have immediate access to a common area kitchen, living and dining area, and SPA. Each neighbourhood also has access to a beautifully landscaped secure garden area where residents are able to safely enjoy the paved walking paths and raised flower beds. A hair salon, library, physiotherapy and occupational therapy exercise room and a doctor's clinic are also on site for the comfort and convenience of our residents and those who care for them.
The Admiral has a training area onsite which keeps our caregivers up to date on best practices as well as educates new members of our team on GEM's corporate policies and procedures.

The Admiral's sister facility is White Hills Care Centre which is located in Hammonds Plains and opened their doors to 58 residents in June 2011.
