The Eden Alternative, a philosophy of long term care adopted by GEM, transfers long term care facilities into homes where people are comfortable living and combating the loneliness, helplessness and boredom of frail, institutionalized seniors.

The Eden Alternative has restructured the delivery of care in order to personalize it and endeavors to create a less institutionalized, more relaxed environment.
