Constructed by GEM Health Care in 1984, Melville Lodge Long Term Care Center is a 122 bed care facility. It has been carefully planned and designed to provide each resident with an enhanced level of nursing care. Seniors who require assistance with activities of daily living, such as cleaning, dressing, and preparing meals find Melville Lodge to be the best place for them to live.
Melville Professional Center
Located within the Melville Seniors' retirement community, it is a single floor facility and has received accreditation from the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation. Also located nearby is Melville Ridge Professional Center, where you will find a Lawton's drugstore, as well as a physician, physiotherapist and denturist, who can be visited by appointment.
There are also plenty of activities at Melville Lodge that keep our residents as active as they would like to be. Whether it be taking a stroll around the beautiful walking paths that surround the lodge, having a game of cards with some new friends, or participating in the many activities that our on site recreation director has planned, there's always something to do.
