Welcome to Melville Lodge Located within the Melville Retirement Campus in Halifax, Melville Lodge is a 122 unit facility which caters to individuals who require nursing care and supervision or assistance with their activities of daily living. From the building's design to its model of care, Melville Lodge was carefully planned to provide its clients with an enhanced service where each is treated with the highest level of dignity and respect.
Clients who live at Melville Lodge enjoy the activity program which keeps them enthused and involved with their neighbours. For their convenience, there is also a hair salon, library, multi-denominatinal chapel and a physiotherapy and occupational therapy exercise area in the facility. Healthy meals and snacks are all prepared under the the direction of our nutritionist and are enjoyed in our beautifully decorated dining area.
Melville Lodge also has a training area on campus which is used to keep our caregivers up to date on best practices as well as educate new members of our team on GEM's corporate policies and procedures.
Melville Lodge was constructed in 1986 by GEM Health Care Group.
