Middleton, Nova Scotia is the location of the future Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Center, the replacement for North Hills Nursing Home currently operating in Granville Ferry, Annapolis Royal. This 50 bed facility will incorporate GEM's ever evolving model of care in having residents reside in individual neighbourhoods of 12 -13 private rooms and washrooms, surrounding the central core of the facility.
Completion of this Heart of the Valley will be summer 2010.

Progress to Date
As of December 4, 2009 Roscoe Construction moving along well and is very close to having the building roof-tight. It's taking shape nicely and will be another GEM for Middleton.
