Groves Park Lodge, an 86 unit Long Term Care Center, was acquired by GEM Health Care Group in 1981, and has since been accredited by the Canadian Council on Health Services for the care that they provide. Located in beautiful Renfrew, Ontario, Groves is a single floor facility built to enhance the lives of the mature adults in the area.
Residents of Groves find it to be the ideal place for them to live, as they typically have numerous health care requirements, and the professional, caring staff at Groves Park is able to accommodate the needs of each resident.
The staff at Groves Park Lodge understands the anxieties that accompany a change in living conditions, especially if it's done alone, so from the moment a resident arrives, Groves staff provides a warm, caring welcome and ensures they do whatever they can to make the new resident feel comfortable and secure. Committed to lifelong learning, 
Groves believes that the continuous retraining and upgrading of their professionals knowledge is the key to delivering the finest health care possible. Many of the health care professionals at Groves have been there for more than 35 years, which is a testament to the commitment they have in caring for others.
Recent additions, including 11 private rooms, an elegant dining area, and a luxurious reception hall with a stage for entertainment contribute to the enhanced level of care that we 
strive to provide. Two fully furnished palliative care rooms have also been established for people who require assistance while loved ones are on vacation or just for them to become familiar with the concept of Long Term Care.
For the convenience of residents who require physiotherapy or rehabilitation, these programs are offered on site, as well as a full time medical director and three dedicated attending physicians. A pharmacy, which is open seven days per week is also located in close proximity to Groves Park Lodge.
The staff at Groves is also committed to providing an uplifting experience to the residents, whether it be strolls around the grounds to the gazebo, outings for dinner and shopping, or enjoying the many activities that the on-site recreational director has planned, the residents are free to enjoy as much as they prefer.
